Fred Again.. at Glastonbury 2023

Fred Gibson, the EDM Maestro, Unleashes a Wave of Euphoria on the Other Stage

This past Friday, if you were wandering around Worthy Farm, you'd likely hear one name echoing around: Fred again... Despite sharing the day's lineup with big names like Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters, it was clear that the place to be was the Other Stage, where 29-year-old Fred was set to perform.

Fred has a knack for drawing in a crowd, and boy, did he do just that. As he quietly walked onto the stage and hit a couple of notes on his Novation MIDI keyboard, the crowd went wild. And when he started playing "Kyle (I Found You)", the audience was all in, dancing and grooving to the beat.

Fred is a pretty humble guy, and he's not shy about showing his gratitude. He shared messages with his fans on the stage screens, saying things like "Glastonbury is my dream stage... this is my favourite place on EARTH!" His words, along with his emotive music, really hit home with the crowd, who cheered him on at every chance.

But Fred wasn't just there to tug at heartstrings. He was there to get people moving. And with his Maschine in hand, he did just that. He played a live version of "Rumble", a track he made with Skrillex and featuring UK grime legend Flowdan. Not a single person in the crowd was standing still.

Fred's performance was more than just a DJ set. It was a full-on spectacle. His beats, mixed with sampled vocals, created an atmosphere that had everyone, even the security guards, dancing. His performance of "Danielle (Smile On My Face)" and an unreleased track with Obongjayar were definite crowd-pleasers.

Fred's energy was contagious. He was bouncing around the stage, grinning from ear to ear, and every time a chorus hit, he'd shout "geez!" His love for Glastonbury was clear, and his performance was a testament to his talent and his connection with his fans.
